Nicotine Pouch - Point of Sale

Kent Precision was tasked with designing a point of sale unit for nicotine pouches in convenience stores. The design needed to be modular, stackable, and easily customizable, allowing for marketing cards to be updated as needed.

Design Process and Collaboration

The client had a clear vision of how they wanted the point of sale unit to look. Our design team worked closely with the client, developing a concept that met their requirements. The unit was designed to be stacked for space-saving purposes, with a front advertising card that could be easily replaced if additional units were added or if marketing materials needed to be updated.

We provided an initial 3D printed sample and laser-cut prototype to give the client a tangible preview of the unit and its features. This helped refine the design before moving forward with production.

In-House Production and Solution

With the design finalized, Kent Precision handled all aspects of production tooling and moulding in-house. We also partnered with a printing company to produce the marketing cards, ensuring that the entire solution from design to manufacturing to final delivery was handled under one roof.

This end-to-end solution gave the client a streamlined, efficient process and a high-quality point of sale unit ready for deployment in stores.

Kent Precision's ability to provide tool making design and consultation, 3D printing, and injection moulding made this project a seamless experience for the client, delivering a high-quality, functional, and easily upgradable point of sale unit.
