David West
Role: Managing Director

David began his engineering career as a general engineer at Fort Halstead before advancing to complete his tool making apprenticeship at Erith College of Technology. David has been in the industry for over 45 years! With a strong foundation in both engineering and tool making, David specializes in injection mould tools and special purpose machinery.

David's expertise plays a pivotal role in ensuring the precision and quality of the tooling processes at Kent Precision.

Ben West
Role: Managing Director

Ben joined Kent Precision in 2013 after gaining experience at a large point-of-sale injection moulding company, where he completed an advanced apprenticeship in engineering manufacturing. With a wealth of experience working on machines ranging from 20 to 1000 tons, Ben specializes in injection moulding and has honed his skills in 3D printing, SolidWorks design and prototyping

In his role at Kent Precision, Ben leads all R&D, design, and consultation efforts. He also manages the mould shop, ensuring all processes align with ISO9001 standards. Ben's comprehensive expertise and innovative approach drive the continuous development of high-quality solutions at Kent Precision.

Luke Adams
Role: Junior tool maker

At the age of 18, Luke joined Kent Precision as our first apprentice in mechanical engineering, where he completed an advanced apprenticeship in engineering manufacturing. After working alongside the mouldshop, Luke has now transitioned into the toolroom to help with up coming R&D and Production tooling.

Luke's hands-on experience and growing expertise in tooling and manufacturing processes make him an essential part of the Kent Precision team.

Peter Holland
Role: Mouldshop Manager

Peter joined Kent Precision at the age of 17 while studying mechanical engineering at North West Kent College. Working alongside Luke, Peter plays a crucial role in setting new and existing tooling and sampling to ensure smooth production processes. With our ISO9001, peter ensurers that the QMS is upto date as well as the production schedule.

Peter's dedication and hands-on approach to learning make him an important asset to the Kent Precision team

Samuel Kent
Role: Junior tool setter

Sam has joined us as a junior tool setter whilst studying mechanical engineering at North Kent College. Sam is hands on and gets involved in tool setting and production alongside the rest of the team.

Paul Thomas
Role: Non Executive Director

Paul, the Non Executive Director of Kent Precision, began his career as a special purpose machine and press tool maker, gaining hands-on experience in the intricacies of tooling design and manufacture. At the age of 24, Paul transitioned into management , where he applied his deep technical knowledge to overseeing and improving operations.

With a vast amount of experience in tooling design and manufacture, Paul plays a critical role in guiding Kent Precision's growth and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry. His extensive background enables him to provide strategic leadership and maintain the high standards of quality and innovation that the company is known for.
